Mini-Microscope, Fixed Light Model

Mini-microscope, originally used for currency scanning but also very handy for mineral identification. This model has 60-power magnification, two regular LED lights (one quite strong) and a long-wave UV bulb. Due to its single-piece construction, it holds up very well during field work. This gadget is especially handy for looking down into cracks and vugs and for UV scanning, even without the microscope lens. It is powered by three LR43 button batteries, has a wrist lanyard and comes with a soft case. (US dime coin is 18 mm in diameter.)
